Dr. Ananya Choudhury – Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr. Ananya Choudhury has an experience of over 12 years in the field of Psychiatry. She has trained and worked in various well-known institutes in the country, including Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS) Delhi, Institute of Mental Health and Hospital (IMHH) Agra, Assam Medical College Dibrugarh and this has provided her with a very holistic training in the subject. She has also undergone brief training in Child Psychiatry and Deaddiction Psychiatry at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. She is currently, associated with Psycare, a neuropsychiatric care center, New Delhi as Consultant Psychiatrist.
Based on  her extensive experience in the field of psychiatry she has expertise in dealing with:

• Child and Adolescent Mental health
• Female Mental Health issues,
• Marital and Psychosexual issues,
• Depression, Anxiety disorders
• Schizophrenia and Mood Disorders
• Issues related to use of substances
• Relationship issues

She is focussed on listening to her patients and then providing them with individualized care.

In addition to patient care, Dr. Ananya has been actively involved in various community outreach programs, such as organizing and participating in outreach clinics and mental health awareness programs in the community.

She has also been involved in the teaching of postgraduate trainees, and in training of Medical officers in Delhi, training of counselors, nursing students.
